The development of Scots law into the twenty-first century can be traced through succeeding editions of the textbook. 
 
In addition to the usual up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of Scots private and commercial law, this edition considers the effects so far of Brexit in the field.  New legislation and the most significant case law are fully considered. There is also a completely new analysis of the effects of illegality in contract and unjustified enrichment in the light of Patel v Mirza [2015] UKSC 42.
