John Powell, QC's practice is complex commercial litigation, arbitration and advisory work in the UK and overseas. This is reflected in his renowned leading text books on professional liability, financial services and securities regulation. He has considerable experience of acting as an arbitrator, as well acting as an expert in overseas litigation on UK financial services and professional liability issues. His advisory work related to professional liability typically engages insurance issues and professional terms of engagement. Occasionally he presents papers on subjects within his expertise in UK and abroad.

Roger Stewart, QC has a mixed national and international commercial practice specialising in professional liability, construction, insurance and re-insurance. He is regularly appointed as an arbitrator in high-value and sensitive disputes. Roger is an established and extremely experienced leader who has undertaken some of the highest profile disputes across a number of fields in recent years. He is a Recorder and appointed to sit as a Deputy High Court Judge in the Technology and Construction Court.

Mark Cannon, QC s a commercial practitioner specialising in professional liability claims in a commercial context (acting for both claimants and defendants), insurance and reinsurance, construction and commercial disputes. He appears before the Commercial Court, Chancery Division, TCC and appellate courts as well as in arbitrations. Mark is editor of Jackson & Powell on Professional Liability (Sweet & Maxwell, 6th edition, 2007) since the 3rd edition (1992).

David Turner, QC specialises in commercial insurance and reinsurance, professional liability and commercial product liability disputes. David's practice, both as a junior and now as a silk, has been typically involved large-scale disputes in the Commercial Court, Chancery Division, the Technology and Construction Court. He is an editor of Jackson & Powell on Professional Liability and author of the chapter on Professional Indemnity Insurance in the current, 6th, edition.

Fiona Sinclair's practice focuses upon commerce and construction. In the field of professional liability, her particular expertise in claims against construction professionals is well-known. She undertakes substantial construction, transport and engineering cases for employers and contractors, as well as recovery claims for property insurers. Fiona appears regularly in the TCC and in the Commercial Court, on appeal, and in arbitrations and mediations. She is a TECBAR-accredited adjudicator and acts as an editor of Jackson and Powell on Professional Negligence (Sweet & Maxwell, 6th edition, 2007) since the 3rd edition (1992). She writes the chapters on Construction Professionals and Expert Evidence.
