CONTRIBUTOR INFORMATION

  1. We welcome the submission of articles for consideration by the Articles Editor with a view to publication. Articles;to be considered for publication should be sent  to The Articles Editor, Hamish Lal, by email tohamish.lal@hamishlalpartners.com and Commissioning Editor Eleanor Loutzenhiser Eleanor.loutzenhiser@hotmail.co.uk
  2. The preferred length for articles is around 5,000 words. However, shorter contributions will be welcomed and longer articles may be considered for publication.
  3. Submission of articles will be held to imply that they contain original unpublished work and are not being submitted for publication elsewhere. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to material submitted.
  4. Manuscripts should be typewritten on one side of the paper only and double spaced (including footnotes), with wide margins. All pages should be numbered consecutively. Titles and headings should be short.
  5. Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and numbered consecutively throughout the text with superscript Arabic numerals. Footnotes should be typed on a separate page at the end.
  6. Authors must supply the biographical information which they wish to appear in Construction Law Journal, along with an address to which proofs and two complimentary copies of the Journal can be sent.
  7. Cases and statutes, etc. should be cited accurately and in the correct format, preferably in the footnotes.
  8. Proofs will be sent to authors who undertake to check them. They should be clearly corrected and returned to the address given thereon without delay. Authors who would like their article to be peer reviewed should make this known to the Articles Editor when they submit their article.

Contributors must supply their full contact details for further correspondence and are responsible for complying with the house style guide before making a submission.
